What I am grateful for today…

~Hair ties and head bands~
Now I know that this is superficial, but I never said that these thoughts would be deep or meaningful every day. I fell asleep last night with wet hair, hence the BAD HAIR day feeling today. So I am thankful to have my hair ties and head bands to pull my hair back so that I don’t scare the world. Today…I woke up feeling like this guy:

Hope he made you laugh, because I got a chuckle out of him.

What I am grateful for today…

~My house~
Although I often complain about how much work needs to be done on it, I am so happy to have a house. Considering the bad economy and seeing more and more houses being foreclosed on in our neighborhood, I am so thankful that we have been able to keep our house.

My Graduation Day

Last Saturday I graduated with my Masters Degree in Adult Education and Curriculum Design from the University of Phoenix. What an amazing feeling to finally have that degree completed, unfortunately I am NOT liking paying the student loans. I do not regret the hard work and dedication that it took me to get this degree. All of my schooling was all online which I believe is more work than a traditional classroom.

Any hoo…the day started off with a wonderful lunch at Maggiano’s (one of my favorite Italian restaurants’) and then headed over to the Wells Fargo Theatre in the Denver Convention Center. The Masters of Arts in Education was the largest graduating group which felt pretty good to be a part of it. After the graduation my Dad & I headed to the Rockies game where we almost got hit by a foul ball that Tulowitzki hit! It was an exhausting but wonderful day. Thank you to my family and friends that supported me through this process, I love you all very much!

Below are some pictures from the day (Sorry, I forgot my camera…so I didn’t get that many).

What I am grateful for today…

~My good friends and neighbors~
They have trusted me enough to watch their pride and joy, their pup Furio! Having this responsibility has given me the extra push to become a better pack leader for my dogs.

My Landing Spot

Hi everyone…yes, yes, I know…ANOTHER blog, is she crazy? And yes, I am. But I know that it can get to be a pain to remember all of the web addresses, so I figured I need a ‘landing’ site for all of my blogs…and so Tuffy’s Tales was born! Anytime I update one of my blogs, I will put a little blurb on here for you with a link to that site. But there are many things that I want to share with the blogging world and my other blogs are so specific and I wanted one that was specific to me and how I survive through this crazy thing called life.

I have adopted a new philosophy on life to wake up each morning and state one thing that I am grateful for, this is to help me keep a positive attitude for the day and help improve my moods. As most of you that know me, know that I am a negative person realist…and I am trying to improve that. And what better way than to share my thoughts with you!

So if you would like to follow along on my journey of life, love and laughter be sure to sign up for my posts via email or RSS feed! And like I stated under the ‘About Me’ box, you can always contact me with comments and suggestions.

I do hope you enjoy!

WHAT I AM GRATEFUL FOR TODAY:
My baby girl Jessy Boo! There is nothing quite like the love of a loyal dog…she’s seen me through some pretty hard times in my life and she’s always wagging her tail!
