I am a huge supporter of the
Susan G. Komen breast cancer foundation. Every year I sign up to participate in the
Race for the Cure, but I never end up going…so I donate the money I just don’t ever participate. My Grandmother is a two time survivor of breast cancer and I am thankful every day that we had the technology to save her life, so I decided that the foundation I was going to continually support was for breast cancer research. Over the last 6 years I have done the
Tubbs Romp to Stomp but could never muster up the energy to get up early and participate in the walk downtown. Well this year, Lil’ Steph convinced me! We headed to party city to pick up some ‘pink’ gear to wear that day and set a plan. I met her up in her neck of the woods and we took the RTD into town, it dropped us right at the race it was really cool. We had the pleasure of having her boyfriend, Brad and her Mom come with us! We had a great time! Along the way we ran into some of fellow Jazzercise instructors which was pretty amazing considering there were so many people there! The most amazing part was walking across Colfax and down the I-25 on ramp and up the Auraria Parkway ramp to the Pepsi center. The view of people was amazing! I had so much fun! Here are a few pics from the walk…

After the walk, I headed home to take the pups to my parents house to be puppy-sat while I went to the Broncos game with a friend. And yep, you guessed it…her name is
Stephanie too! Huh, you would think I’m a narcissist for surrounding myself with Stephanie’s (and NO they are not just multiple personalities). We will call her ‘
High School Steph’.
High School Steph invited me out to the game and being a HUGE football fan how could I refuse. And it was a great game! The Broncos did very well, and I will admit it…it was nice to see Tony Romo get sacked by our Defense. I chuckled a little bit each time. So I didn’t take many pictures because I was distracted by the game…but here are a few.

Not sure what was happening here…
A little play action…
So as you can see, I had a very productive and fun weekend and I just had to share it with everyone. Things are looking up for me and I wanted to be sure to share with my readers that life can be tough at times, but you must keep moving…good things will happen.
Enjoy your day!
Thanks for stopping by!
