RECAP: 2010 Accomplishments

2010 New Years

Wow, I can’t believe this year is coming to an end...SO much has changed in the course of one year, truly amazing.

So let’s see, last year I decided to post up a listing of 10 things that I wanted to accomplish by the end of the year. Let’s see how I did!

1) Get a job. – YIPPEEE! I have a job, and it is a FAN-tastic one, I love it. Internet company, YES please.

2) Start running – Um ya, FAIL. I never started looks like I’ve got one for 2011.

3) Run a marathon – See previous. I suck. *sigh*

4) Use 10 pound weights when teaching – Well had I NOT had the ‘incident’, I’d be up to 10. Max that I have been able to use is 8 pounds.

5) Learn to love again – I have learned that even though you have been hurt, you must never turn away love. The love of friends and family can get you through anything.

6) Shoot a gun – Nope, never did this…but then again, never looked into it either.

7) Hike a 14-erHECK YA I did this, and I was pretty dang proud of myself afterwards.

8) Travel somewhere out of this state – I did this TWICE! Once, I went to New Orleans with some of the most fabulous girls I know (GO JAZZERCISE!) and second I went to Hawaii!

9) Spend more time building meaningful friendships – I have made a great effort to invest my time in people that are worth it…and so far, it’s been amazing. I am so blessed to have all these people in my life.

10) Think one positive thought a day (aka my Grateful postings) – OK, I did this internally…and it was tough, not gonna lie. I was slacking a bit with the postings but at least some are out there.

So there you have it…6 out of 10, not bad. I’m busily working away on my list for next year.

How did you do this year?

GRATEFUL POSTING: Leggings

~ Leggings ~

leggings

OK, I know…its kind of a weird thing to be grateful for. But let me explain…I have the WORST allergies, so much that the metal that is on the buttons of jeans and//or pants give me a rash on my belly. YES, I am that girl.

Also, growing up I always had freakishly skinny legs so I never wanted to wear tights or leggings. Well I’ve grown up and Jazzercise has helped to shape my legs so I ‘m a bit more confident.

The other day, I logged into Victoria’s Secrets website (my FAVORITE!) and they had a sale on Leggings. So, I bought some. Today, I put them on with my adorable new boots and OMG I am so comfortable! Who knew looking this cute could be some comfortable.

So…there you have it, that is why I am grateful for leggings.

MANTRA MONDAY: New Routines

Mantra Monday

~ New Routines ~

NewRoutine

OK…WOW!!! Life has been crazy lately…so many changes going on, I have no idea where I am supposed to be and when. (Thank goodness for my Google calendars!) LOL Gotta love the holidays; parties and get togethers, shopping, decorating…it’s INSANE around the Tuffy’s Tales household! It has been so crazy, I haven’t even been able to write my blog posting of my wonderful trip to Hawaii! I know that you are anxiously waiting to hear what all Tuffy did! LOL

So, this week…I am sitting down and trying to get organized and start some new routines. Going to work earlier, going back to Jazzercise classes as an instructor AND as a student, and balancing the home life. I have to say…I am excited. My life has been so blessed over the last few months…I know what it feels like to be happy again. So I am going to embrace these new routines and make them work for me.

Make it a great week.
