MANTRA MONDAY: Drink More Water

OK, I know this sounds fairly simple…right? Then WHY do the majority of us forget to do this? Over the last few weeks we have had such CRAZY weather here in Colorado. After watching the news last night, I found out it is going to be hot this week. Like Vegas weather HOT.

As you know, I am a Jazzercise instructorso not only do I burn a lot of calories, but I sweat…a LOT -- especially when it is over 90 degrees outside. No matter how high or low your air conditioning is when you are working out…IT. GETS. HOT! Having had some experience with de-hydration, I am going to make a conscience effort to drink 120 oz of water a day (on the days that I am working out).

That means I have to drink 7 of these…

I found this cool little survey online that tells you based off of your weight, activity level and a few other items how much water you should be drinking.

So I know that this is not a huge goal…but the key to happiness is small achievable goals that make you feel better. So bottoms up! (BTW – I have had 3 of my ‘glasses’ of water only 4 more to go!)
