THANKFUL THURSDAY: Car Warranties

OH MY GOODNESS, I am SO thankful for VW’s warranty. In case you haven’t heard…Carmen, my 2010 VW Jetta, has been very sick. And for those of you that know me, know that I just adore my car. So this has been very sad for me.

I took her in two weeks ago for a slow oil leak. 3 shop visits later, I found out there was a crack in the oil gasket, head gasket and the engine block. Poor Carmen, she’s been so sick! So after chats with VW headquarters, Tynan’s VW has ordered her a new engine block. Ya that’s right…a brand new engine.

That being said, I am SO SO thankful that I caught this before the warranty was up, so it is all covered. *whew* Could you imagine how much that would cost if it wasn’t covered under warranty? So today--especially—I am very thankful for VW’s Manufacturer’s Warranty, it has helped to save my poor girl Carmen, and hopefully I will get her back soon.
