THANKFUL THURSDAY: iPod Stereo Connection
~ iPod Stereo Connection ~
In case you were not aware, my car has been in the shop all week and I have been stuck driving a rental car. Not only is the rental car TERRIBLE to drive in the snow, there is no iPod connection…so I can not listen to my Jazzercise sets on my way to class! I never realized how much I depend on that. So today, I got my car back and the very first thing I did…plugged in my iPod and started listening to my set for tonight. *swoon* I will never again take you for granted Carmen (my car’s name)…I love you and your awesome stereo system.

MANTRA MONDAY: Stay Warm!
~ Stay Warm! ~
So…in case you haven’t heard, Colorado has been hit with some pretty cold spells lately. And I’m not saying 20-30’s cold, I mean below zero cold! YIKES! To the point that some school districts shutdown for the day, so the kids didn’t have to go outside. Now…that it is COLD!
Well, they are predicting some more cold spells for this week, along with some more snow. Now, I am OK with the snow (if I had my own car—but sadly I do not) but I can do without the cold. It is miserable when it’s this cold. Cars won’t start, pipes burst, electric bills go up, and you get that chilled to the bone feeling.
So, thankfully this cold spell should be a short stint. But in the meantime, I will try to stay warm and hopefully my rental car will be OK in the snow. Wish me luck!
