~ Better Food Decisions ~
Not going to lie…this girl has been worn out lately. With work,
Jazzercise and social life I feel like I just don’t have enough energy for it all. Now, if you know me…you know that I take on a ton of things at a time, and I am usually able to balance it all. Not so much lately, and I think that a HUGE portion of it has to do with my food decisions.

When in a rush, I pick the easiest and quickest food solution – no matter what the calorie consequences; and not only is my waistline suffering -- mostly it is my energy level. Being an aerobics instructor, you need to be aware of what you are putting in your body as fuel. I have been doing a TERRIBLE job of that--TERRIBLE! So, this week I am focusing on making better decisions to fuel my body. For example, instead of getting fries – get a side salad. Instead of getting a sandwich with bread, go for the bread-less option. And so far I am off to a good start, for lunch today I got a
Jimmy John’s Unwich with a pickle on the side. YAY me!
I have also decided to join the site
MyFitnessPal.com. This site allows you to track your food, exercise, and weight – all for FREE! And it’s a proven fact, if you diet with friends you are more successful, so I’ve ‘friend-ed’ some people that I know that are using the site, it helps me to feel accountable for my food decisions.
